A group of visitors relax in the shade of a VA-46 which was active during the Cold War as an attack squadron nicknamed the “Clansmen” by its first commander McDougall who incorporated his Scottish clan tartan in its insignia. The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, first opened in 2008, houses a wide selection of military aircraft and space memorabilia.
