Color photograph taken of the trunk and branches of a venerable 400 year old flowering Oak Tree at Les Cotils, Guernsey, St Peter Port, Channel Islands, 2013. Les Cotils, now a hotel and Christian Retreat, was once a school run by nuns and then a hospital during the Occupation. The Cotils garden and grounds provide stunning views over Saint Peter Port and Herm and include a walled and kitchen garden. The 12 acre garden was awarded the Floral Guernsey St Peter Port Gold Award in 2012.
